Interview Guide

1. Full of Passion: A candidate who is of great passion and strongly interested in, and eagerly desires to join the client company has a better chance of success.

2. Active Cooperation: Please do remember the importance of interview, no matter how busy you are. We will coordinate the interview time and place for you before the interview, and your cooperation will be highly appreciated.

3. Knowing the Company: After receiving an interview notification, you should get to know basic information of the company you are interviewing through various channels, such as the industry situation, company development history, main products and competitive advantages, industry status and the position you’re interviewing (e.g. positioning, responsibilities and recruitment requirements), and make sure you’re fully prepared.

4. Advance Preparation: Before you go to the interview, please carefully review your career experience (with reference to the resume template), combing your work scopes, responsibilities and main achievement at each stage (use data and facts whenever possible), and think ahead of time about what the interviewer might be interested in and prepare the answers, such as job-hopping motivation of each stage, your career planning and expected salary.

5. Punctuality: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early and mute or turn off your phone. In addition, interviewers are usually senior managers who may postpone the interview due to emergencies, so please wait patiently.

6. Business Etiquette: Please wear professional office attire to build a clean, unpretentious and decent professional image, and be modest, friendly and confident but not conceited to show good professional qualities.

7. Self-introduction: Try your best to be compendious, well organized and preponderant. It is recommended to limit the time to 5 minutes, briefly introducing your earlier positions, responsibilities, and performance, and examples of success that have been achieved because of your abilities rather than those of others. In case of a senior management position, it is better to elaborate strategic thinking and organizational suggestions in the height of industry and enterprise strategy. Self-introduction is the most important part of an interview and if necessary, we can do a rehearsal for it. If an on-site speech or presentation in the form of PPT is required, you are advised to control the PPT within 30 minutes.

8. Listen and Answer: Listen to the interviewer's questions and take the initiative to answer them. Speak fluently and loudly with moderate eye contact. In the face of tricky questions, answer them with sincerity, confidence and respect. During the interview, you may ask for information about the position (such as organizational structure, reporting relationship, job responsibilities, expectations and requirements of the company for candidates), introduce your own advantages, and show your personal value to the company to make a good impression.

9. Salary Expectation: It is generally not recommended to ask for salary and benefits information, and leave it to us. If you are asked to give your expected salary, please be sure your expectation is relatively reasonable, and if too high, give a good reason (e.g. significantly lower than industry level).

10. Employer Evaluation: Do not evaluate your current or former employer unless being asked to. And if unavoidable, please do it with a positive and grateful attitude.

11. Job-hopping Motivation: Try to be objective about your resignation reasons and honest about immature job-hopping (if any). Make sure you have a clear thought about the reason why you want to join the company and about your future career planning.

12. Timely Feedback: After the interview, remember to communicate details of the interview with us timely (preferably on the same day or the next day), so that we can further communicate with the client company to help you get prepared for the next round.
